Agreement and Contract Information

By entering this forecourt site and/or purchasing fuel, Adblue, goods, or using any other available services, you automatically enter into a binding contract with the forecourt operator. These Terms and Conditions are intended to be incorporated into that contract and may be referred to in that contract, or in signage on the forecourt site, as the “Forecourt Eye T&Cs. Details of the forecourt operator are available upon request at the kiosk or by calling 0113 887 4870. Where there is any conflict between these terms, and other terms in the forecourt operator’s contract, these terms take precedence.

Data Collection and Processing

This site operates CCTV surveillance and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems. Images and video recordings from these systems may be collected for investigation and enforcement purposes. Any information you provide, along with captured images, may be processed by the forecourt operator and shared with relevant parties (including Forecourt Eye Limited and the DVLA) for:

  • Debt recovery and enforcement activities
  • Crime prevention and security purposes
  • Performance and enforcement of your contract for the purchase of fuel, Adblue or other goods or services

Legitimate business interests of Forecourt Eye Ltd and the forecourt operator

Payment and Enforcement

Payment for all goods and services must be made immediately upon completion of your transaction.

  • Non-payment will result in an application to the DVLA for registered keeper details, which may be used for both civil recovery proceedings and criminal enforcement action, as clearly displayed on forecourt signage.
  • If immediate payment is not made, the vehicle registration mark (“VRM”) will be instantly live on the Forecourt Eye national database of unpaid fuel, Adblue and goods. When entering any forecourt site in the UKprotected by Forecourt Eye ANPR, the VRM will immediately be alerted to the forecourt operator’s personnel. It is then the forecourt operator’s decision what happens once the alert has been matched. A VRM will remain on the  Forecourt Eye database until the full outstanding debt including administration fees are paid in full.

If your vehicle is not recognised by the DVLA database, the VRM will immediately be alert ed to the forecourt operator’s personnel. It is then the forecourt operator’s decision what happens once the alert has been matched.

No Means of Payment

If you do not have the means to pay for fuel, Adblue, goods or services, you must not dispense fuel, Adblue or take goods from, or use services on, the site. Should you discover after dispensing fuel or Adblue, taking goods or using services that you cannot pay, you must immediately:

  • Enter the kiosk
  • Provide accurate information when requested
  • Complete a No Means of Payment (NMoP) form to the forecourt personnel

Following this procedure may qualify you for a reduced administration fee.

Drive-Off Incidents

A drive-off occurs when a customer dispenses fuel, Adblue or takes goods or uses services and leaves the premises without declaring they have funds to pay or making any attempt to pay. Drive-offs may be unintentional or deliberate:

Unintentional drive-offs will be handled through civil recovery procedures. Forecourt Eye will apply to the DVLA for registered keeper details to pursue payment of the outstanding debt.

Intentional drive-offs constitute a criminal offense and will be reported to the police, in addition to civil debt recovery action.

Administration Fees

In addition to the cost of fuel, Adblue, goods or services, you will be charged an administration fee. These fees are calculated from the time the forecourt operator reports the incident to Forecourt Eye and are shown in the fee schedule below. Additional charges may apply beyond the standard administration fees listed.
